Rico Langjahr (*1995), born and raised in Root LU, is a music producer and multi-instrumentalist from Lucerne, Switzerland.

After preliminary studies in singing at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and a PreCollege at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern, he began his studies at the Jazz Campus in Basel in 2020, specialising in singing with Lisette Spinnler. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Performance with a major in Producing with Daniel Dettwiler, Patrik Zosso and Antonio Pulli.

In addition to his work as a producer, Langjahr plays the piano and drums and has a particular passion for synthesisers. After gaining experience in synth-pop, he is currently focussing on the neo-classical and ambient genres, where he combines acoustic and electronic elements. Langjahr is constantly exploring new ways of incorporating vocals as an integral instrumental element in his compositions, giving them a subtle but significant role in the overall picture.
